AREOLA RESTORATIVE TATTOO QUESTIONS
FAQ
Additional Info:
Tanning & spending time in the sun will fade your ink.
Be aware that tanning WILL fade and discolor your nipple/areola tattoos. If you tan topless, make sure to apply a 50+ SPF sunscreen frequently to protect your tattoos from fading/discoloring.
Do not get your tattoo(s) done right before vacation.
Especially if you plan on being out in the sun a lot, going swimming, etc. We can do them 2 weeks before you go, or 1-2 weeks after you get back.
Results may vary per person
Once the tattoos have healed, I recommend using a lotion to keep the tattoo moisturized, as needed.
A note about healing a tattoo.
You will NOT want to expose the tattoo to sunlight, tanning beds, water sources, or dirt. A healing tattoo needs to be kept clean, but dry. (Showering is fine. No hot tubs, pools, oceans, rivers, lakes, or baths.) You will want to minimize your exposure to bacteria and other infection causing environments until the tattoo is FULLY HEALED.
